THE COPERTO IN ITALY

In Italy, the coperto has ancient roots: as far back as the Middle Ages, inns and taverns would charge it to provide a prepared table—with a tablecloth, bread, and clean dishes. It was a small contribution that honored hospitality even before the meal began.

Today, this gesture lives on in many restaurants as a symbol of thoughtful service. In our case, the coperto includes freshly baked bread, extra virgin olive oil from Lake Garda, and all the little touches that make your place at the table special.

The coperto is charged per person and only applied when lunch or dinner is ordered.
